Pinked Floyd supported Dogs 4 Rescue and Illuminated in their bid to try to reduce noise from an event they were playing at Manchester city airport. The result has mean a greater distance from the rescue and reduced noise fireworks
Following concerns about their annual firework event, Manchester City Airport have moved the location of the event further away from a rescue centre and staging a show with reduced noise levels by using low-noise fireworks
Even though the display was organised already they will replace the planned fireworks with ones called "quiet fireworks" and while they are not silent they are a low level noise . People who hire the hall are being asked to choose silent or quiet fireworks, the gentleman (we believe this is Warren Turvey) who takes bookings will try to steer them towards using them as they are priced the same and are readily available.
